Terms of use
These are the terms for using the Regnkort app for iPhone and Android, including the Regnkort Plus subscription. By installing or using the app, you accept them. Please also read our privacy policy, which explains what data the app uses.
Who we are
Regnkort is published by Bech.Solutions ApS, Borthigsgade 10, 1. th., 2100 København Ø, Denmark, CVR no. 45143473. You can always reach us at mikkel@bechsolutions.dk.
Your licence to use the app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app on devices you own or control, within the rules of the App Store and Google Play. The app, its design, code and content belong to Bech.Solutions ApS or our licensors. You are licensed to use the app; you do not buy the app itself.
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, these terms apply as your end-user licence instead of Apple's standard licence. You may use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's usage rules, including through Family Sharing.
These terms are an agreement between you and Bech.Solutions ApS, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content, for maintenance and support, and for handling any claims about the app, such as product liability, legal compliance or third-party intellectual property claims. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
You confirm that you are not located in a country that is subject to a US embargo or designated by the US as a country supporting terrorism, and that you are not on any US list of prohibited or restricted parties. When you use the app, you must comply with any third-party terms that apply to you, such as your agreement with your mobile carrier.
Questions, complaints and claims about the app should be sent to us: Bech.Solutions ApS, Borthigsgade 10, 1. th., 2100 København Ø, mikkel@bechsolutions.dk. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Free features and Regnkort Plus
The app shows rain from an hour ago to 90 minutes ahead. The first hour is based on DMI's radar where the radar reaches, and the rest on weather-model forecasts. The map with the radar and the DMI, MET Norway and ECMWF sources, place search and one rain alert are free. The free features stay free.
Regnkort Plus is a subscription that today gives you:
- Blend, where several weather models are weighted together and given a score for how much they agree.
- The spread view, showing how far the individual sources differ.
- Saved places (the “Spots” tab), with the next 90 minutes for each place, up to 100 places.
- Rain alerts for all your saved places, smart alert settings and scheduled checks.
- Rain on your bike route between two places, worked out as the straight line between them at cycling speed.
We only describe what the subscription includes now. If we add features later, they are a bonus, not something you have paid for in advance.
How the subscription works
- Regnkort Plus is a subscription that renews automatically every month or every year until you cancel it. In Denmark it currently costs 19 kr. a month or 99 kr. a year, including VAT. The price that applies to you is shown in the App Store or Google Play before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase, and then at the start of each new period. The yearly plan is paid for a whole year at a time.
- App Store: the subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, and the renewal may be charged within the last 24 hours of the period. Google Play: the subscription renews on the renewal date unless you cancel before then.
- You cancel on iPhone under Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, and on Android in the Play Store under your profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. If you have Plus, you can also tap “Manage subscription” on the “Plus” tab in the app. You keep Plus for the rest of the period you have paid for.
- If we raise the price, Apple or Google will tell you before the new price applies, so you have time to cancel. If the store requires your consent, the subscription only continues if you agree.
- If we offer a free trial, the store shows how long it is. When it ends, it automatically becomes a paid subscription at the price you saw before buying, unless you cancel: in the App Store at least 24 hours before the trial ends, in Google Play before it ends.
- If you change phones, you get Plus back with “Restore purchase” on the “Plus” tab, as long as you use the same Apple ID or Google account.
- Deleting the app, or deleting your data with “Delete my data”, does not cancel the subscription. You must cancel it in the App Store or Google Play.
Right of withdrawal and refunds
If you buy Regnkort Plus in the App Store, Apple sells you the subscription. If you buy it on Google Play, we, Bech.Solutions ApS, sell it to you, and Google handles the payment. As a consumer in the EU you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you buy. How to withdraw:
- App Store: at reportaproblem.apple.com. You can cancel a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Only Apple can refund App Store purchases.
- Google Play: in your Play Store order history, or by emailing us at mikkel@bechsolutions.dk that you withdraw, with the order ID from your receipt (it starts with “GPA.”). You can use the model withdrawal form, but you don't have to. We refund the full amount no later than 14 days after we receive your message.
If Plus does not work as described, you also have your statutory rights, for example to have the fault fixed, a proportionate price reduction or your money back. Please write to us first and we will help.
Model withdrawal form
This is the form from Annex 2 of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. Complete and return it only if you wish to withdraw from a Google Play purchase. Writing to us in your own words works just as well.
- To Bech.Solutions ApS, Borthigsgade 10, 1. th., 2100 København Ø, Denmark, mikkel@bechsolutions.dk:
- I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the provision of the following service: Regnkort Plus (order ID: …)
- Ordered on (*)/received on (*)
- Name of consumer(s)
- Address of consumer(s)
- Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper)
- Date
(*) Delete as appropriate.
Forecasts are estimates
The map shows measurements from DMI's radar, nowcasts based on them and forecasts from weather models. The radar can be wrong too, and nowcasts and forecasts are estimates that can be wrong about timing, place and amount. The same goes for rain alerts: an alert may come late or not at all, and notifications can be delayed by Apple, Google or Expo. Do not use the app for decisions where life, health or significant value is at stake. For official weather warnings, see DMI at dmi.dk.
What you may not do
We built the app for personal use. So you may not:
- collect data from our server automatically (scraping) or use our API other than through the app. This does not apply to the public scorecard shown on our website,
- decompile, reverse engineer or otherwise try to derive the source code of the app or our server, unless the law expressly allows you to,
- get around payment for Regnkort Plus or other technical limits,
- overload or disrupt our systems, or try to gain unauthorised access to them,
- resell or redistribute the app or its content.
If you break these rules seriously or repeatedly, we may block access from the install concerned. If you have Plus, we will warn you first, unless the breach is serious, such as abuse that puts a load on our systems.

We have processed the data: it is interpolated, converted into rain cells, radar images are carried forward and blended smoothly into the forecasts, and in Blend the models are weighted together. Blend in Regnkort Plus draws on several weather models. We don't disclose which.
Your data
The app has no login, no ads and no tracking. How we handle the little data the app uses is explained in the privacy policy.
Liability
We work hard to make the app reliable and its forecasts good. But a forecast is an estimate, and a forecast that turns out wrong is not a fault in the app. So we are not liable for losses caused by acting on a forecast that did not come true, unless the forecast was wrong because of a fault on our side.
We depend on weather data from others, which can be delayed or missing for short periods. If you have Plus and it does not work as described, you have your statutory consumer rights, for example to have the fault fixed, a proportionate price reduction or your money back.
Otherwise we are liable under the general rules of Danish law. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for personal injury, for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes
We keep developing the app and may change it and these terms, for example when we add features, when our data sources change or when the law changes. The current version is always on this page, with the date at the top.
If we change the terms or Plus in a way that is to your disadvantage, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If the change makes Plus significantly worse for you, you can cancel the subscription and get your money back for the unused part of the period. Write to us within 30 days of the change and we will arrange the refund.
Changes that are not to your disadvantage, such as new features, apply from the day they appear here.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Danish law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection the law of your home country gives you. You can bring a case in the courts where you live, and we can only bring a case against you there.
Please write to us first; we can usually sort things out. Otherwise, as a consumer you can complain to the Danish appeals boards, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark, via naevneneshus.dk. If you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre in Denmark, Forbrugereuropa, can help.
